Federal law · missed
Under the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule, a creditor is no longer required to honor the estimated closing costs on a Loan Estimate if the consumer indicates an intent to proceed more than how long after the estimate was provided?
The rule
An intent to proceed expressed more than 10 business days after the Loan Estimate was provided is itself a valid reason to issue revised estimates and reset tolerances. The 3- and 7-business-day figures belong to the delivery and waiting-period rules, not to how long the estimate stays binding.

The questions
Written from the regulations. Checked by a person.
Every question cites the rule it tests: RESPA, TILA, ECOA, the SAFE Act, HMDA, Regulation Z, and the rest of the NMLS content outline. A person checks each one against the regulation and dates the review. You see that date in the app.
Follows the 2026 outline
Questions are apportioned the way the test is: Federal law 24%, Origination 27%, General 20%, Ethics 18%, Uniform State Test 11%.
Source on every answer
The section of the CFR or statute that decides it, with the passage quoted. Open it on ecfr.gov from the app.

Every question is original. We do not sell answer keys, and we never ask you about the questions you saw.
